Ami took Kogane's arm and pulled her along by her side, humming happily to herself as she looked around the placid streets of Konoha.
"Alright, this is gonna be fun!~" She laughed to herself, her purple hair flying around her face in the light breeze that swept through the open alleyway which they had gone down.

Now they were at the other end of Konoha, and therefore at the Training Grounds in the wooded area. The grounds were near enough deserted, only a few Jounin littered the benches on the other end. This didn't un-nerve Ami at all, gave her more confidence if anything.
"Let's get this show on the road, Kogane! Show me what you can do." She grinned confidently and laughed again.

Kogane grinned at Ami, she drew out a kunai knife, and weld it in one hand, and with the other, she drew out a shuriken. "Shall we?" She asked, as though this was a dance.

"Would you like to set a few rules first? And make this in a way a competition game? Loser treats dinner at Ichiraku's." Kogane said, smiling.

Ami grinned and nodded eagerly, unable to turn down a challenge. Of course, she had always been competetive, and was always up for a worthwhile challenge.
"You're on! But don't cry when you lose." She teased and stayed unarmed for now, standing with her arms by her sides. "Ready..." She placed her right foot back as a foothold. "Set..." She took a hidden shurikan with an explosion tag attatched to it from her wristband. "Go!"

Within an instant, Ami threw the shurikan in the middle of both her and Kogane, not meaning to hit her. She made a water handsign and called, "Activate!". A small ball of flames towered above them, and the dust rose up like a cloud. Ami then started to make some rapid handsigns, her eyes never leaving the very dusty figure of Kogane. This jutsu was an adaptation on Twisting Passage of Hellish Nightmares, but on a much smaller scale. She used it to be devastating, yet at the same time chakra efficient. A small spherical form of water was now sat in her right palm, gaining teeth inside of it. When the jutsu was fully powered up, she launched it at Kogane. Then, she decided to play it safe and used Shunshin to get her into the treetops that were just behind her. Her right arm went over her head and clasped tightly onto her tanto, and she waited for the dust to clear and her attack to reach her opponent.

Description: A ninja forms a whirlpool or tornado, depending on which is desired, that is filled with solidified water (or wind) in the form of sharp talons or teeth. Ninja trapped in the tornado or whirlpool are shredded to pieces with the sharp points, being covered in light cuts at C Rank, moderate cuts at B Rank, Heavy cuts at A Rank, and possible lethality at S Rank.

A ninja can hold this jutsu for a number of posts depending on the rank used, and the ninja’s rank. Kogane was surprised when Ami did a jutsu with water or teeth. Kogane grinned as she tried dodging the creepy tooth filled water sphere. She got caught and felt like she was being cut. She was lucky that her apparel was strong enough to not be worn out by the jagged teeth. She blocked her face with arms to make sure that didn't get cut. Luckily when the ninjutsu stopped, Kogane was cut-less, and full of chakra.

She sighed, wincing at the point of her being caught on the first step. She couldn't use genjutsu since she couldn't detect her opponent.

There was one genjutsu though, but it was too risky. She'd save it as her keycard. She smiled, fingering the shuriken, then threw it at a few tree leaves. She took the kunai and did the same with the other tree. She then got a hold of three shuriken and threw them at tree separate trees.

Ami held her tanto in front of her, and blocked a shurikan that was coming towards her. Then, a large metal clang echoed round the grounds. 'Damn... well that was clever, now she knows where I am...' She thought, jumping up into another tree not so far from where she had been. She didn't want to fight too close range, because she remembered what Kogane had said. Her opponent was a Genjutsu user.

She then flipped off the tree branch backwards so she was now in amongst all the trees as more cover. Then, she dropped to the floor and crawled across the ground, her breathing ringing in her ears as she moved closer. Now the dust was lifting, she could see Kogane more clearly. So, she took two kunai, and aimed them at her opponent and then threw them swiftly and with a lot of force, before rolling across the ground and standing from her right leg.

Kogane saw the kunai rapidly coming at her. She dodged them both, and saw Ami. She wan towards Ami, and prepared a sign of hand-seals. She shouldn't use genjutsu yet until she herself was safe from any moves.

Ah! I'd use that...My trump card! Kogane grinned, she would infact use the card.

But since she was now just a few feet away from Ami, she decided to use a clan justsu. She waited till she was three feet away from Ami, and puked out the sticky substance.

Ami's eyes narrowed towards the sticky substance coming towards her, and she held her palms out in front of her, summoning some water in a large sphere around her. This was a defense jutsu she had figured out by herself that had no name. This jutsu could work as a deflector of fire and liquid like jutsu.

The sticky vomit splashed onto her water shield and slid to the ground slowly. Ami kept her strange shield up until she was completely sure that she was safe from the stuff that was fired at her before dropping it to the floor but keeping a decent amount in her left hand.

"Bullet!" She then shouted after making the needed water handseals, she began to spit water at a fast speed towards Kogane.

Kogane took the impact which washed away the sticky vomit from her mouth> The water was strong and she shielded her face again. After it stopped Kogane bit herself, smiled and started forming handseals. The handseals were the key to her trump card. She slammed her hand into the ground, then "POOF!"

The giant dragonfly was there. She did another set of seals to get her harp. She took the harp, ran and then jumped on Gorudo.

Gorudo took off in the air.

Physical Description: A human sized gold dragonfly with the Katakana "Kogane" on it's forhead.
Summon Requirements: You have to be part of the Kagerou clan, or more importantly Kogane herself.

Story: All of the Kagerou clan have a dragonfly born to be with them. Kogane's just happened to be Gorudo. Gorudo was born to be with Kogane but Kogane hadn't made the contract till her father told her to do so. Gorudo is now eternally bonded to Kogane and when Kogane will die so will Gorudo. It was more than just a summoning contract, it was a blood contract, and a life contract.
Special Characteristics: Nothing really special. Just acts as a shield and helps Kogane soar through the air, while playing her harp.

Appearance: A three feet long harp. It's made of solid gold and has dragonfly accents on it. The strings are a special classification of chakra strings. It has to be summoned from a scroll.

Special Abilities:Play it with Chakra on your fingers and the sound that is produced will be used to deafen or trap the opponent in a genjutsu. Play it without chakra and it sounds like a normal harp. Can also be used to summon Kogane's dragonflies.
Origin: The harp was forged by the Kagerou clan especially for Kogane. The harp is one of it's kind as the Kagerou clan uses different kinds of musical instruments for each person.

Ami was puzzled by the harp's appearence, and wondered what it did. So far, nothing was happening, but she was sure that Kogane hadn't summoned it forth for nothing. It was at times like these that she wished she could summon something, but she would have to wait until her father decided she was ready for such a thing.

She looked at the huge dragonfly and then the harp, and decided that she didn't want to stick around to see what they both did. She continued to back up, until she was at the edge of the grounds, and her foot dangled off the edge of something. She looked round, and saw a small lake of which she had never seen here before. She shrugged to herself and flipped backwards into it, before doing so making rapid handsigns and disapearing below the water's surface.

A huge air bubble encased all her body, thanks to her Water Breathing jutsu. Of course this wasn't meant for her to breathe under water, she had interpretted it for it to do so. While she was underwater she couldn't hear a thing, only the small bubbles that rose off her to the surface. Ami was always a good fighter on and in water, so she was still confident about her chances, especially now. And if Kogane stepped onto the water's surface... then she would unleash a powerful jutsu that she had been taught.

This jutsu allows a ninja to use chakra to extract oxygen from water and to block too much water from entering the lungs by forming a barrier around the bodily openings (nose, mouth, skin pores, etc.) This jutsu negates certain water jutsu that rely on suffocation to kill.

Kogane stared at the way Ami seemed to have dissolved under water in the ground. She couldn't use any musical genjutsu through the air. Damn, she was fighting one tough opponent.

A smile formed on her face as she grabbed three kunai knives from her pocket and then launched them into the water. Then she activated her kekkei genkai, so that she'd be able to detect Ami and see all around.

Yeah, it made her look weird. But oh well. "Dive G! Dive!" Quickly Gorudo dove in the air, close enough for her to look at the lake, but not close enough to touch it. Gorudo flew in circles above it.

She could detect Ami's chakra. A grin flew on her face. Ami would have to come up sometime, and when she does, Kogane would be waiting for her.

Kogane put her hands in the harp and started playing. It wasn't a genjutsu releasing song, it was a normal song which did nothing. She didn't even use chakra to play. This would confuse Ami, she thought.

She played the song in loops.

Ami watched the dragonfly circling the water above her and her head tilted to the side. But, she couldn't just do nothing while she was here. She tried to figure out how far above the water's surface Kogane and her dragonfly were above the surface, and settled for about five feet. Perfect range for the real thing of her Twisting Passage jutsu.

She noticed that the dragonfly was just circling slowly, so if she could pinpoint a specific point when it was just above her... then her opponent was going to be caught.

So far Ami had three quarters of her chakra left, she decided, since she held out her palm and focused some chakra into it. This was a medical jutsu that was easy and told her the needed things about her chakra levels.

When she used her Twisting Passage, she would have half. Perfect.

She made the required complex string of handseals, and held her palms outstretched above her head. Water started to swirl round in her palms, slowly building up into a huge tower, jagged teeth forming slowly but surely.

"Twisting Passage of Hellish Nightmares!" She shouted in her airbubble. Even though it was shouted in the air bubble, she was pretty sure it could be heard above water. Then, she waited to feel the snag of Kogane and her dragonfly in the devastating jutsu.

The water erupted out of the lake so swiftly she didn't have a time to dodge. Gorudo took the attack for her as she plunged into the lake head first. The harp fell in too, but poofed away after splashing into the water. Gorudo also poofed away.

All right, it was game on. She dove to the top of the water, gasping for a breath of air. She should've paid more attention to those swimming lessons! She swam around in dog paddling style. She had to get away from the water–and fast.

Ami grinned triumphantly, looking up and seeing Kogane swimming round. It seemed she wasn't such a strong swimmer, so she didn't want to be mean. Instead, she swum to the bottom of the lake and then slammed her hands hard onto the ground, causing a huge whirlpool to errupt from the impact. Instead of sucking Kogane into it, she reversed the effects and made it spurt upwards and spit her out and onto dry land.

Plus, Ami made sure that the water was of high pressure, so the attack would hopefully work for her and cause some damage.

Once this was done, Ami swum to the other end of the lake and pulled herself out, taking a shurikan and encircling it with a pool of water, before hurling it at her target. She was sparring for keeps, and wasn't about to go that easy on her opponent.

Kogane was shocked as she was thrown into the ground by a giant whirlpool. She landed on her back. Her kekkei genkai went back into their sockets, causing pain on her eyes. She blinked, and before she knew it a shuriken was going her way. She rolled to her left and saw it crash in the ground.

Great, she hasn't even been able to use genjutsu yet and she was running low on chakra. Perhaps two or three more C ranked jutsus and she'd be emptied out.

"Gah!" She searched herself for more equipment until finally settling on an exploding tag. She threw it high above the air, just above the lake before throwing a shuriken to hit it. She watched as it landed just by the edge of the lake.

Boom! It exploded.

Ami ducked and rolled out of the way of the exploding tag, and was now on her knees. She was now on half her chakra, only just however. This left her plenty to attack and defend herself with. Only question was... what should he do now?

She quickly got to her feet, standing square on and firm, her eyes locked on Kogane and not moving from her. However, she was pretty cautious and didn't look into her opponents eyes. Then she quickly drew two kunai, hurling them at her target. All she was doing was playing for time, until the other girl was tired.

Then, Ami held her palms out in front of her, making quick and decisive hand seals for another powerful jutsu. The best thing with this one was, she could control how much chakra she put into it. She focused a small amount into the huge mass of water in front of her now, so now she had under half left.
"Destruction Torrent!" She called out and launched her attack, before drawing her tanto in her dominant hand which was her right. Then, she waited to see what would happen.
