Techniques Cost

Be sure to read up on these before you fight, because overusing your Chakra can lead to you dying when left untreated, so you do not want to overuse it. As such, this list is your God during battle, so study this list well.

This is the universal amount of chakra every jutsu on this site costs to use (CP stands for Chakra points):

E rank costs 5 CP
D rank costs 15 CP
C rank costs 25 CP
B rank costs 50 CP
A rank costs 150 CP
S rank costs 375 CP

Now, to use a technique, you do need chakra, and this is how much chakra someone of each rank possesses:

Genin starts with 100 CP
Chuunin starts with 250 CP.
Jounin starts with 500 CP.
S rank starts with 1250 CP.
SS rank starts with 2000 CP.

Genin (100 CP)

E-Rank – 5 CP (5%) [20]
D-Rank – 15 CP (15%) [6.6]
C-Rank - 25 CP (25%) [4]
B-Rank - 50 CP (50%) [2]
A-Rank - 150 CP (150%) [.66]
S-Rank - 375 CP (375%) [.27]

Chuunin (250 CP)

E-Rank - 5 CP (2%) [50]
D-Rank - 15 CP (6.6%) [16.6]
C-Rank – 25 CP (10%) [10]
B-Rank - 50 CP (20%) [5]
A-Rank - 150 CP (60%) [1.6]
S-Rank - 375 CP (150%)[.66]

Jounin (500 CP)

E-Rank - 5 CP (1%) [100]
D-Rank - 15 CP (3%) [33.3]
C-Rank - 25 CP (5%) [20]
B-Rank – 50 CP (10%) [10]
A-Rank – 150 CP (30%) [3.3]
S-Rank - 375 CP (75%) [1.3]

S-Rank (1250 CP)

E-rank - 5 CP (0.4%) [250]
D-rank – 15 CP (1.2%) [83.3]
C-rank - 25 CP (2%) [50]
B-rank – 50 CP (4%) [25]
A-rank – 150 CP (12%) [8.3]
S-rank - 375 CP (30%) [3.3]

SS-rank (2000 CP)

E-rank - 5 CP (0.25%) [400]
D-rank – 15 CP (0.75%) [133.3]
C-rank - 25 CP (1.25%) [80]
B-rank – 50 CP (2.5%) [40]
A-rank – 150 CP (7.5%) [13.3]
S-rank - 375 CP (18.75%) [5.3]

Our base system or Chakra Points is to help remove the mystery of our previous system.  Chakra consumption and chakra levels are still required in any post that a jutsu is used.
If ever a situation arises and a Chakra Point is split, it MUST become a full number.  Always round the Chakra Point.  This prevents people from having 0.0001% of their chakra left and arguing that they're still standing.

Chakra/Stamina Reserve Chart

Below is a list detailing the consequences of utilizing certain amounts of your chakra reserves (this accounts for taijutsu/weaponry techniques as well). As you continue to use chakra throughout a topic you will slowly succumb to negative effects listed according to the percent of your entire chakra reserved used. The percentages listed below are for your entire chakra reserve, as some individuals possess more or less chakra and/or some manner of chakra control, they will be able to use more or less jutsu before succumbing.

When applying these tables, all negatives count towards your current totals of strength and speed, factoring in boosts.  So for example if you have 15% chakra left and you have boosted yourself 70%, you add the 70% boost to yourself and then subtract the 50% from that new total.

Chakra/Stamina Reserve
100%: N/A
95%: N/A
90%: N/A
85%: N/A
80%: N/A
75%: N/A
70%: N/A
65%: N/A
60%: N/A
55%: Mild fatigue/One full night of sleep required
50%: See Above
45%: See Above
40%: Speed/Strength reduced by 5%
35%: See Above
30%: Moderate exhaustion/Speed/Strength reduced by 15%
25%: See Above
20%: Severe exhaustion/Speed/Strength reduced by 35%
15%: Speed/Strength reduced by 50%
10%: Shinobi near collapse.  Speed/Strength reduced by 65% (2 IRL days of bed rest, 50% of speed/strength/chakra capacity regenerated per day)
5%: Shinobi collapses, Speed/Strength reduced by 80% (3 IRL days of bed rest, 33% of speed/strength/chakra capacity regenerated per day)
0%: Unconsciousness, immediate attention is required. Uninterrupted rest is required with chakra reserves slowly replenishing during this period. (5 IRL days of bed rest, 20% of speed/strength/chakra capacity regenerated per day)
-1%: Dropping below 0% chakra will cause death.

Consequently there are also negative effects for overloading your chakra circulatory system with too much chakra. Beings made of pure chakra (e.g. bijuu and certain clans), jinchuriki or anyone with an SC, surgery or seal increases their chakra pool size are exempt from this rule due to their lack of chakra circulatory system and/or multiple chakra reserves, respectively.

115%: Chakra pathways become overstressed and enlarge (3 IRL days of bed rest)
120%: Chakra pathways overstressed and enlarged (5 IRL days of bed rest)
125%: Chakra pathways rupture and become permanently unusable

Note: If a Character tries to utilize a Jutsu that would put him/her under 0%, the Jutsu fails to activate, and said character will pass out.
