Ami continued to smile brightly and handed her guests their glasses full of ruby red punch. Then, there was a knock on the door. Her head shot up and she put her glass down on the side, before rushing to her front door.
"I won't be a minute!" She then called to Kogane and Ikusen, and opened up the door widely.

"Hello, I have been instructed to give you this. Kairu wishes you a happy birthday, and Shado of course." The messenger said with a smile, and handed her a large white wrapped box. Ami was startled and took it in her arms, barely able to see over the top of it as she laughed and thanked the messenger before coming back inside and shutting the door.

"I feel so special!~" She cooed as she came back into the kitchen and placed the box down on her kitchen island also, careful to avoid her other presents. She then noticed the card with it and gently took it in her small and graceful hand, before smiling as she read it aloud;
"Happy Birthday Ami,
I am sorry that I cannot attend your party but my team has received its first mission. I will be coming by upon my return to see how much you like the present I have sent you. It is a family made garment that I'm sure will be useful on your missions. Hopefully it is done in the right colours. Sorry for the short note but I am short on time for my mission starts the day before your party. Oh and Shado has grown alot and is looking forward to see you again.

Enjoy your day, Kairu Inuzuka & Shado"

She placed the card down next to the present and pondered what it could be. 'Done in the right colours...' She thought to herself. It was obviously some sort of clothing, and she couldn't wait to open it later.
"Good old Kairu." She then said fondly, and turned back to her guests, leaning on the island with her punch gently held in her hand. "Well you guys, I'm so glad you could both come. And now we'll wait for the others I've invited! Hopefully this is going to be a great party, and if you don't enjoy yourselves, my job as a host isn't furfilled." She continued to smile her dazzling smile as she took a sip from her glass. It tasted mostly of fruit, and she couldn't tell there was alcohol in it at all.

Kogane smiled, "Everything looks so good!" She complimented. "I bet you'd like the gift." She said not knowing where to put it. She really wanted Ami to open it, it was a marvelous gift.

"Well you guys, I'm so glad you could both come. And now we'll wait for the others I've invited! Hopefully this is going to be a great party, and if you don't enjoy yourselves, my job as a host isn't furfilled."

Kogane knew that she wouldn't be the only one to go. There were alot of people in Konoha that Ami knew, and Kogane only knew a few. Most of them, she met recently like Ikusen. She became shy now, and a wave of red flushed over her face. She needed to show people she wasn't shy. She needed to show people who she was at home. And not the baby that she was outside.

Outside with no protection from mommy and daddy.

Kogane just smiled sweetly and continued to fiddle with the bow on the box she was holding.

Ikusen takes a drink of the punch, but he notices a slight near-burning sensation at the back of his throat. He puts the drink down slowly after finishing the glass, knowing the slight burn of alcohol, even weak alcohol, when he feels it. Ikusen smiles at Ami, not letting his eyes betray his knowledge. "You've definitely fulfilled your job for me! I'm already enjoying myself." He keeps his eyes focused on Ami's so he won't look elsewhere.

He notices Kogane's blushing red cheeks out of his peripheral vision, and the nervous way she's playing with the bow on her present, and he gets some idea as to what she might be nervous about. Ikusen looks about, pretending to be trying to find something. "Could we put on some music, Ami-chan? It might help some of the guests relax when they come in..." He looks at Kogane out of the corner of his eye, hoping the song might help keep her mind off her nerves.

Ikusen picks up his glass again, only filling it halfway with punch. He drinks it much more slowly than he had before, making sure to take only small sips. "This punch is delicious, Ami-chan!" He grins at her, his cheeks still a little red, but only from being with two women in the same room.

Ami nodded at Iku's suggestion and grinned happily, before noticing he had taken off his mask and was blushing slightly. She wanted to tease him but decided against it, just continuing to grin rather than saying anything.
"I can't believe I forgot about music!" She then said, running as best as she could in her heels into the hallway and grabbing a small remote that controlled the stereo in her front room.

She pressed the standby button and it immediately started to blare out some music. She nodded happily to herself and was still holding the remote as she went back into the kitchen, taking her glass and linking her arm through Kogane's and giving her an encouraging smile.
"Come on guys, through to the front room!" She then said loudly and clear enough to be heard over the music. "That's where the real party is at!"

A bird flew into the party and dropped a scroll into Amy's hands, then took off into the sky. Inside the note said:

"Amy,

Sorry I couldn't make it to your party, I am currently on a very important mission. I left your present with the messenger bird. Please send him back to me with a slice of cake, I am starving of hunger right now and I will take it as acceptable payment for all of those times I baked you cookies. Thank you and have a happy birthday!

--Arashi Momochi"

The bird then swooped down once more, this time using its beak to snap a bit of string that tied a small present to its leg. The present plopped onto the floor next to Amy with a slight thud as the messenger bird landed onto Amy's arm, patiently waiting to receive its cake.

"That's where the real party is at!"

Kogane smiled as Ami linked arms with her. She felt better now and less odd between the three of them. She came to Ami's birthday to have fun. And that was what she was going to do.

The music was the type that seemed fun to dance to. It wasn't the type that should only be heard, like her music. But it was the type that you'd have to get your groove on to fully enjoy.

She started focusing on each element and instrument used to make the tune. She focused on the drums, the guitars, and every thing else. She started to move her head with the rhythm. This was really fun!

Ami blinked as she looked at the bird sat on her arm and laughed, looking round and seeing the cake that was in the kitchen from here.
"Go ahead and take a piece, lil bird." She grinned, shaking her arm slightly so it would detatch from it and take the cake, before swooping back out the window. "Now then..." She bent down and took the present, and read the scroll, a small smile gracing her lips as she placed them down on the side next to her.

"Where were we?" She then pulled Kogane with her and used her spare arm to take Iku's. "Oh yeah, getting this party started!~" She laughed happily and spun her guests round before spinning to a stop herself, grinning from ear to ear.

Ikusen smiles at Kogane a little, glad that she's more relaxed now, then gets surprised when Ami takes his arm, blushing a little. After a few moments of spinning, he starts getting dizzy, having to do a little shuffle-step to keep himself from tripping over his own feet as Ami spins to a stop.

Instead of staying on his feet and dancing, he sits on the couch, simply listening to the music, unsure of his own feet, since he'd never danced to this kind of music before. He simply smiles at the two girls shyly, tapping his foot to the beat of the music.

Kogane danced gracefully. She put no effort in this since it was in her blood–plus she had been dancing even before she could walk or talk. She grooved to the music, in a pattern that seemed to just fit in with the music.

She noticed Ikusen sitting on the couch, only tapping his foot. Kogane moved to him, and offered a her hand. Surely people in a party with the liveliest person in Konoha be more lively.

"Care to dance with us?" She asked feeling confident. Music was awesome, yeah!

Ikusen blushes shyly and takes Kogane's hand, knowing in the back of his mind how ironic it is that he's a man and being asked to dance. He stands up, blushing more when he whispers to her. "Kogane-san, I don't really know how to do any fast dancing... I'm afraid you'll have to settle for what I do know."

In a moment of surprise and un-characteristic bravery, Ikusen wraps one arm around Kogane's waist, pulling her body closer to his, and lifting their hands in the air, looking into her eyes to see if she was comfortable. He feels his face getting hot from all the blushing and decides to ignore it, knowing that Ami would be likely to tease him about it.

Kogane blushed at the sudden contact. But just smiled it off. "Um... it's easy." She said. "I'll teach you." She knew that she had to be the one to lead this dance. She popped her free hand on his shoulder.

"Just move to the music." She said, "You'll be able to get it." She moved her feet to the rhythm, praying he wouldn't step on her or step on him. She kept her green eyes on his blue ones.

Furyn walked up to the house described in the flyers scattered all around the village. He wasn't wearing his regular cloths cfor it was party to which would probably have cute girls and he wanted to make a good impression. So instead Furyn was wearing his regular boot, pants and shirt with a white tie laying atop his black shirt and a fancy style black leather jacket.While not wearing any of his weapons he also had no forehead protector, he was hoping others would still recognize him of it was large and covers parts of his face. As he arrived at Ami's house he took the gift he had for her out of the belt pouch holding it tightly in in his left hand as he knocked on the door with his right hand.
